2013 Registration Begins

The 2013 Summer Hockey School will take place August 11-16 in Yorkton at the Gallagher Center.

Hockey 1st Skills Academy Information 2013

Hockey 1st Skills Academy - Owner/Operator - Jason Gordon

The school will take place in Yorkton from August 11-16 / 2013

Our camp will feature high quality instruction and supervision following the curricula and format that has been successful in ensuring skill development for young hockey players.  The program for the 2013 summer camp will only have full day camps for Novice, Atom and Pee Wee players.  All hockey players will be able to be dropped off at 9:00 and pick up at 3:15.  We are hoping this is a more convenient format for our families.

The curricula will feature:

• 2.5 hours of on-ice instruction each day featuring skating instruction and skill development.
• 1 hour of Hockey FUNdamentals will have a leisure swimming time, team building excursion, guest speakers, and skating analysis. 
• 1 hour of off-ice conditioning will take place in the Flexi-Hall.
• Daily lunches
• 6 hours of supervision.

For the Initiation Program and Beginners (born in 2007, 2008) the Hockey 1st program will offer a on-ice session from Monday to Friday August 12-16.  The sessions will take place during the week from 3:00 - 4:00 at the Farrell Agencies Arena in Yorkton, SK.
